Robert Maranto is Endowed Chair in Education Leadership and Professor of Education Reform at the University of Arkansas. His research interests include civil service reform, charter schools, and the presidency, and he edits the Journal of School Choice. He has co-edited books such as The Politically Correct University (with Frederick M. Hess and Richard E. Redding) and Judging Bush (with Tom Lansford and Jeremy Johnson) and is the author of Beyond a Government of Strangers: How Career Executives and Political Appointees Can Turn Conflict to Cooperation (Lexington).
