About Fabian Wendt
Fabian Wendt is Associate Professor at Bielefeld University and a Visiting Scholar at the Freedom Center. Previously he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Hamburg. He earned his Ph.D. from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 2008. Professor Wendt, born and raised in Munich, works mainly in political philosophy and has written on compromises, peace and modus vivendi, public justification, libertarianism, private property, political authority and legitimacy, and republican vs. negative conceptions of freedom. His recent book is called Compromise, Peace and Public Justification: Political Morality beyond Justice (Palgrave Macmillan 2016).
