Social Philosophy and Policy Conference on Ideal Theory

Dec. 7, 2015

Twenty-two distinguished philosophers, political theorists, and economists contributed to the Social Philosophy and Policy conference on Ideal Theory & Practice, which was held December 3-6 at the Omni Tucson National Resort. The double-issue conference featured four days of presentation and discussion on diverse and broad topics, including idealization, realism, and utopianism, the character and forms of feasibility, fact-sensitivity, cost-benefit analysis, opportunity costs, and the connection between theory and practice. The presented essays will be published in an issue of the journal Social Philosophy and Policy.
