Invest in Girls

Invest in Girls is a program provided by Arizona’s Council on Economic Education aimed at helping to close the “women in finance” gap, particularly for those in disadvantaged communities. This February 27^th, the U of A in conjunction with the Freedom Center will host the graduating event for the Spring 2025 Cohort. These 28 students are from Valley Vista High School in Surprise, AZ, and upon completion of their program, this final event aims to provide them with not only an idea of campus life for potential future wildcats, but also networking opportunities and workshops on campus to help inspire them to continue their path in a finance related field.
