This year, eight Legislative Fellows—four assigned to Democratic offices and four to Republican—supported legislative mentors through research and policy engagement. We are proud to recognize their achievements alongside faculty, EMLE students, and public officials.

About the Program
Now in its third year, the Legislative Fellows Program places graduate students in state legislative offices, offering direct experience in policy research and public service. Fellows received a $5,000 scholarship and had the option to earn academic credit. The 2025 cohort represents the most formalized and bipartisan group to date.
