On November 12-15, 2015, the Center for the Philosophy of Freedom hosted a workshop at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort for the contributors to the upcoming Macmillan Handbook of Environmental Ethics. The workshop featured six 90-minute sessions on papers by Douglas MacLean, Allen Thompson, Ned Hettinger, Michael ‘t Sas-Rolfes, David Schmidtz, Danny Shahar, Clare Palmer, Gary Comstock, Ben Hale, Lauren Hartzell-Nichols, and Phil Cafaro. The sessions were devoted to providing each author with valuable feedback from the others before the handbook goes into production in 2016. The handbook will be edited by David Schmidtz and will be part of a series of philosophy handbooks being put together by James Petrik. In addition to the papers presented at the workshop, the volume will also feature contributions from Andrew Brennan, Norva Lo, and Ben Minteer.
