Simone M. Sepe holds the Chester H. Smith Professorship of Law and Finance at the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law and is a faculty member at the Center for the Philosophy of Freedom. His expertise encompasses business organizations, contracts, law and economics, empirical methods, and law and philosophy. He earned his doctoral degrees in law from Yale Law School and in economics from the Toulouse School of Economics. Professor Sepe has previously taught at institutions like the University of Chicago Law School and the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. He is a research member of the European Corporate Governance Institute and a fellow of the American College of Governance Counsel. Before academia, Sepe practiced banking and finance law at Clifford Chance in London and was an investment banker at Fortress Investment Group in London and New York.
