Master of Legal Studies in Law & Economics

Freedom Center Associate Director and Assistant Professor Saura Masconale, in collaboration with the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, has developed the innovative Master of Legal Studies in Law & Economics (MLS, L&E) program. European Master in Law & Economics (EMLE) Partnership

The University of Arizona Center for the Philosophy of Freedom is honored to make the U of A the first institute in the Americas to be an accredited member of the European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE) program. The EMLE Consortium is a highly regarded interdisciplinary program that integrates the study of law and economics through a global network of prestigious universities. This exciting development marks a major milestone in the university’s global engagement efforts and solidifies its excellence and dedication to interdisciplinary graduate education.

PPEL Summer School

Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law (PPEL) is a four-day Summer School with an interdisciplinary curriculum that addresses the practical problems of organizing and running human society. Courses are taught by top-tier faculty. The program is supported by a grant from the John Templeton Foundation #62965 and is a collaboration between the University of Arizona, University of San Diego, and Chapman University.
