Anna Gunnthorsdottir is a Visiting Scholar at the Freedom Center. She has been a Senior Lecturer and Director or Research in the Management Department of the Australian Graduate School of Management at UNSW Sydney, an associate professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, a visiting associate professor at the University of Hong Kong and the University of Navarra in Spain, and Principal Honorary Fellow at Melbourne Business School. In all these positions she taught courses for advanced business degrees. She is currently affiliated with the Department of Economics at the University of Iceland. Her experimental research is about how social structure and incentives impact welfare and efficiency across cultures. She has consulted globally on business strategy, geopolitical strategy and defense, with a focus on forecasting and mass phenomena such as market bubbles, socio-political trends, and emotional contagion.
