Ethics, Economy & Entrepreneurship
Kerry graduated with a degree in Government and Law from Lafayette College in Easton, PA. After a year traveling in the international student group Up With People, she worked at a bank in NYC before relocating to Tucson, AZ. She spent several years at Dun and Bradstreet as a Telecenter trainer and manager before returning to school to earn a teaching certification. Kerry started with the Center in 2016 after teaching Economics and AP Economics at University High School and other area high schools in Tucson. She was one of the original teachers who reviewed the Ethics, Economics and Entrepreneurship textbook (now titled Commercial Society, A Primer in Ethics and Economics.)
As the Special Programs Manager, Kerry engages with high schools offering the dual credit course; Ethics, Economy and Entrepreneurship, to ensure teachers are confident with the material. Kerry also coordinates workshops for teachers and classroom guest lectures.
Additionally, Kerry supports the MLS concentration in Law and Economics by recruiting and encouraging applicants to stay on track. As the first person to graduate in the concentration, she intuitively understands the challenges students may encounter.
Kerry enjoys hiking and cooking with her three grown children. In her spare time she volunteers as a CASA.
