13th Annual Workshop | October 23–25, 2025 | Westward Look, Tucson, Arizona

The thirteenth annual Workshop for Oxford Studies in Political Philosophy convened at Westward Look in Tucson, Arizona, from October 23–25, 2025. The event brought together leading scholars in the field to discuss cutting-edge research in political philosophy and its intersections with jurisprudence, normative economics, and political theory.

Since its revival in the 1970s, political philosophy has become a dynamic and interdisciplinary area of inquiry. The Oxford Studies in Political Philosophy series continues to showcase some of the most influential work in the field, with each annual workshop contributing papers for a forthcoming volume.

This year’s sessions featured a diverse range of topics, including distributive justice, democracy, migration ethics, and the moral foundations of equality. Among the papers presented were:
